Saturday Mornings

If you are unable to attend during our normal opening hours, you can make an appointment for Saturday Mornings. These appointments can only be booked in advance and are NOT for emergencies.

Extended Hours

We are now able to offer appointments up to 6.50pm on Tues, Thurs and Fridays with Dr Warren

Whooping cough cases increase

APPOINTMENTS

If you need to see a doctor the same day please try to ring before 1pm and inform the Receptionist. She will arrange for the doctor to telephone you. The doctor can then offer you a same day appointment or a telephone consultation where necessary.

If you need a routine, non-urgent appointment then we offer pre-booked appointments up to 2 weeks in advance.

PLEASE LET US KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE If you unable to keep an appointment so that it can be offered to another patient. Unfortunately up to 65 appointments are lost each week through people failing to cancel appointments and just not turning up.

SATURDAY MORNINGS are for routine, pre-booked appointments only. Please do not turn up without an appointment as you will not be seen.

If you require a doctor urgently on a Saturday you will need to contact the out-of-hours services.

Home Visits

doctors_bag If you require a home visit because of illness or infirmity, where possible please phone before 11am giving some indication of the problem. A doctor will then contact you and advise when they will be visiting. Wherever possible, we ask you to try and come to the surgery, as we have better facilities for examining you.

TELEPHONE ADVICE

We have an on-call doctor available every day. If you wish to speak to a doctor via a telephone consultation please leave your details with the Reception team and they will arrange for the doctor to call you back.

In order to ease congestion on the telephones, we kindly request patients ring after 2pm to obtain test results.
